Dear Rick:

We thought you would like to know that we have selected Adam Brymora of
Katoomba, New South Wales, Australia to be the seventh recipient of the
Gordon R. Dickson Scholarship for Clarion West. Adam has studied pharmacy and
biochemistry and cellular biology, and received a Ph.D. in 2004, but from his
biography it appears that he is currently balancing writing with being an at-home
parent.  Our readers rated him as one of our top applicants for this year.

We are so very pleased that you are offering scholarship money for a student
