	My name is Michael R. Underwood, the recipient of the Gordon R. Dickson
Memorial Scholarship for the 2007 Clarion West Science Fiction Workshop.  I am
honored to have been selected for this scholarship, and would like to express my deep
gratitude to your organization for the ongoing support it provides to writers looking to
dedicate themselves to the craft of science ficton, a community which he enriched with
prolific writing and active engagement with the community.  I hope that I can give back
