Dear Rick,
  
Thanks so much for the Gordon Dickson fund's second gift of $150,
made to Clarion West in December. This donation, combined with the
Dickson fund's first gift of $150, will be used as a scholarship for the
2004 workshop, to be awarded on the basis of merit and need.
  
Our application season is in full swing as I write. We expect
this year's class to be selected by late April, and we will let you know
details when the scholarship is awarded.
  
Again, thank you on behalf of the entire board for your help and
for this generous way of remembering a big-hearted writer.
