Dear David,

Thanks so much for the donation of $1000 from Anime Twin
Cities, Inc., to Clarion West for the Gordon R. Dickson Scholarship
Fund on June 1, 2008. Your donation will allow us to offer another
$1000 partial scholarship to a promising new writer in Gordy's
memory in 2009, in addition to the scholarships you've already
funded for last year and this year.

This spring, we learned that Clarion West will receive a small two-
year grant from King County's 4Culture Sustaining Support
program.  We're thrilled to have recognition and support from our
official local arts community.  The amount of support we receive
from the wider science fiction community, including Anime Twin
Cities, was an important factor in the panel's decision to give us
this grant.

Your generosity and the generosity of people like you help keep
Clarion West strong, independent, and operating in the black.
